Monday Linky Party

Well I did! I love pulling out my stamps and inks
and looking through my supplies and coming up with something
to share with all of you!

I created this cute little bag using a Piece of White Daisy Cardstock by Close to My Heart. I randomly stamped the {ippity}stamp set  Stitches of Buttons on the Bag. To finish it off I used this cute tag I printed with my Cricut Imagine using the Word of Mouth Cartridge and tied it with a simple bow.

I am linking this project up to the Monday Linky Party project on the {ippity} Blog.
If your getting inky, don't forget to Linky!!

I could color in the buttons but I like the way it looks like this. My next bag is going to be a bit smaller to trade buttons with and I will probably color in the button images.

Don't forget the FUN we will be having on August 4th!
Check out the Blog Hop Event Page on Facebook, HERE

{ippity} New Release is coming in AUGUST you do not want to miss it!

Cherry Much

Happy Friday, Everyone!!

Today I am sharing my "Cherry Much in Love" card with all of you today. When I got this stamp set I knew just what paper I was going to use. This is one of my favorite packs of paper from Micheal's. It's a recollections pack, and it has cherries and strawberries and just lots of fun prints in it.

This is such a fun card to give to your hunny, even if it does have cherries all over it!

For this card I used the stamp set - "Your Friendship - My Cup of Tea" IPK-162. I love all {ippity} sets, but this one of my faves! I love all the elements in this set, and I can't wait to play with the other ones. I also used some fun twine that Heather was kind enough to send me as well.

Thanks for taking a peek at my card today, and I hope I have inspired you to create some fun cherry cards using some {ippity}.

Hugs,

Kristy

Wednesday Wowzer Time

Maybe I've said this before, but sometimes I make something and I'm just giddy about the finished product! Today is one of those days!
This is a card for a friend.  Ever have a need for a card to give to a friend that's not really a sorry card but more like a Murphy's Law card, Luck of the Draw card, Guilt by Association card?
This is one of types of occasions.

I am using the set called: Simply Home.

I have paired the set up using Pink Paislee's Hometown Summer Paper.  The fun thing about this card is the sarcastic humor.  This sweet phrase is "Life is Simple"

But the occasion I am giving this card for contradicts that, so when you open the doors to the house, it says, "yeah, right!"

Lots of machine sewing and fun details went into this card, since it is Wednesday and I am expected to WOW you!!

I had a ton of fun making this and it was well worth losing quality sleep over!

I hope you have enjoyed this fun card today, this has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana.
Have a great Wednesday.

Tag Fun Tuesday

Happy Tuesday to you!
Today I have some fun tags to share with you.
I used the "What's Cookin?" stamp set to create these.
Now I am not the greatest cook, but I can bake you just about anything (thank goodness my husband is an amazing cook).
So I will be putting these to use on bake goods in the near future.

Thanks for stopping by!
If you're looking for a yummy summer dessert recipe, I made this one recently and it was fabulous!

Monday Linky Party

Hello, inky friends!  This is Sherri, and I have a fun little card for you today featuring lots of FLAT layers!  Yup-you read that correctly!  No buttons, no foam tape, not even a drop of Stickles!  Why?  Because I have been creating cards for Operation Write Home!  I am trying to follow the guidelines and also make these cards simple to write in and mail.

I used some super cute bees from {ippity}'s "Bee" Better Together, then combined some sentiments from Your Friendship, My Cup of Tea and Music of My Heart.  My go-to technique for wings is glitter, but since that's a big no-no for OWH, I had to try something different.  My solution?  Used dryer sheets!  I stamped the wings onto a dryer sheet, cut them out, and layered then behind the bees.  They are slightly sheer, making them very "wing-y", and they are only adhered under the yellow paper, making them actually flutter a bit above the card surface.  Love them!

Thanks so much for visiting me today at I Heart {ippity}.  This {ippity} creation is linked over at today's Monday Linky Party on the {ippity} blog.  Hop on over and link up YOUR latest {ippity} project!  We love to see what you share!

Super Sunday!!

Good Morning fellow {ippity} lovers! Emily here today to share a card I created using {ippity} set IPK-160 Giggles x3

The Giggles x3 set is such an adorable set. It's perfect for projects for your good friends when you want to let them know how you feel. The stamp I used today has a lighthearted feel about it, which I love. It is a perfect statement for my friend Beth and I. Had we been sisters, our mom, whoever she would have been, would have gone off the deep end! Her and I are a lot alike...sometimes it can be really fun, but sometimes it can be BAD. You know how it can be when someone is too much like you! Those qualities about you that they have are doubled, so it can drive others nuts, and if you are both stubborn like Beth and I, no one will ever give in! I love her to death though, and am grateful to have her in my life.

Here is my card for her...

I used one of my Spellbinders Labels dies to cut out the polka dot paper in the center. I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock then used some Shimmerz on the edges around it to flow with the striped patterned paper. I tied a bow with some bakers twine on the side. The purple flower is a cabochon.

Other Supplies: White cardstock- unknown
Striped paper- Doodlebug
Polka Dot paper - Doodlebug
Bakers Twine - Doodlebug
Marker - Faber Castell
Cabochon - Unknown

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a Super Sunday and that the rest of your week is as great!

Courage Is My Strength

Good morning and happy Saturday, everyone!

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using the "Courage Is My Strength" stamp set. It's such a beautiful set and can inspire so many different designs!

I was in a spring/summery mood when I made this card, and chose to make an encouraging card using some flowery paper.

To make the card, I used patterned paper from the Recollection 'Bold Basics' stack and sized it to make a 4.5" by 6" card. I used the Destinations Cricut cartridge to cut the rounded background where the sentiment is stamped, and used the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge to cut the scalloped border. The ribbon is from my stash and I embellished the area underneath the sentiment with adhesive pearls.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Fabulous Friday

I hope you all are having a fabulous Friday!! I have been stressing all week over a lot of different things, so today I am sharing a card I made that helped me to release, let go, and just believe!

I used the stamp set "All Things are Possible" - IPK-155. I LOVE this set! There are so many different possibilities for this one.

I also used some Pinterest inspiration, as well as a sketch I found on there too. I love how pinning can get the mojo and creative juices flowing, at least for me it does. I also used plain white cardstock, kraft cardstock, some misc elastic ribbon (which I see is pulling away from the edge of the card, eek), and flowers that I cut with my cameo, embossed and inked, as well as the flourish stem. I think this is one of my fave cards so far. Ok, ok, I have a lot of faves, lol. I just love the craft on white with just a bit of color. It really makes the cards pop.

Thanks so much for taking a peek at my card today. I hope I've inspired you in some way to play with your Ippity rubbah!!

Hugs,

Kristy

Wednesday Wowzer

Today I am sharing a card I whipped up very last minute for today's post.
I am using a set that is called Born of my Heart.

There are lots of great phrases in this new set.  I did not use the full phrase that went with this "LOVE".  That is what is so great about this set.

You can break the phrases apart and use bits and pieces or use the phrases and words "as is."

I was able to create this card in literally no time at all since this is a card I have from one of my older kits from my delightful friend and mentor, Deena Ziegler.

I love to buy her kits and sometimes I create her cards like her diagrams say to and other times like with this one, I just kind of do my own thing!  I hope you have liked my WOWZER for today!  This has been Jeannie with The Polka Cabana with today's post.

Tons of Fun Tuesday Returns!

Hello everyone!
Amy here, back from a fun 21 days in Europe.
It's always nice to be home but I loved strolling through six cities with my husband every day.

It's taken a bit to get my creativity back flowing again, but I have a card to share today.

I used the brand new buttons stamp (Stitches of Buttons IPS-170) to create this card:

The top of the card has a border sticker from Simple Stories summer line, and I added some pearls to the border, but the rest is all buttons and twine. I stamped the stamp in black onto the kraft cardstock and then stamped it again with red ink on white cardstock, with blue ink on white cardstock, and with black ink on red and white gingham patterened paper. I cut out varying buttons and aded them. Then I added some twine and the "hello" by Jillibean Soup.

It's a fairly simple card and one that screams July and summer!

Happy Tuesday!

Monday Linky Party

Good Monday morning!  Sherri here, sharing some holiday goodness!  It's hard to imagine planning for Christmas during this sweltering heat, but I have seen so many crafters lately starting to make Christmas cards for their stash.  Sounds like a smart idea, since I seem to always scramble in December to get them all done!

So, today I am sharing a Christmas card that is budget-friendly and can easily be made assembly-line style.  I also love that it incorporates the trendy "sunburst" technique that is everywhere right now!

To make this card, I first cut four 4" square pieces of patterned paper.  This will make four cards of this design.  Stack the four squares on your cutting mat and use a metal ruler and craft knife to cut through all four layers.  This is an easy technique because you don't have to worry about measuring anything-just be sure that your papers are perfectly stacked.  Make three cuts that meet in the bottom left corner.  Then simply re-assemble the papers into sunburst designs on your 4" card bases.

The tag is made by stamping several snowflakes from {ippity}'s Season of Joy stamp set onto kraft cardstock with white ink.  I then stamped the sentiment over the top with black ink.  Round the top corners for a quick tag, then wrap the card front with white satin ribbon and add a pretty little bow.

This design could easily be used for so many occasions simply by changing up the papers and stamps!  I think it would make a super cute birthday card using the party hat and a sentiment from {ippity}'s Party Hat Wishes!

Here is the set I used, Season of Joy:
I am linking my card up to this week's Linky Party over on the {ippity} blog.  We'd love to see what you have created with YOUR {ippity} stamps!
