Happy Saturday!

Hi everyone,
It`s weekend ....and it`s time to relax :-)
Today I, Gerry, will share with you a card I created using once again
the awesome stamp set "Moon Beams & Heart Strings".
Look at all those stamps....Aren`t they just cute?

I firstly stamped the hearts on the card itself.
Then I stamped them once again on a sheet of pattern paper and cut out only the hearts.
They were adhered with foam tape.
I stamped the hearts for the third time and cut out only a few of them
which I spread here and there ;-) on the card.
I added blue glitter gel pen to the hearts and the words as a final touch!

I hope you like it!
Have a great weekend!

Friday Flowers

Good Morning and Happy Friday, Everyone!! I hope you are all staying cool around your way. Summer is def in full swing and it is hot, hot, hot out there!! As, I sat around in my AC staying cool, I created this super cute card to share with all of you. I just love these colors together!

For this card I used the stamp set - Where You Should Be -IPK-110. I cut the flowers out with my Silhouette Cameo and hand embossed each one and double layered them. I used the leaf stamp as their leaves, and the sentiment just fit perfectly with the flowers. The paper is a very old Heidi Swapp paper pack that I picked up at Tuesday Morning some time last year. I absolutely LOVE this stack! It's starting to dwindle done some too, and I'll be sad once it's all gone.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and have been inspired in some way. Don't forget to stop by and grab your Where You Should Be stamp set today! : )

Hugs,

Kristy

Totally Terrific Thursday

Thursday Greetings!
Shellye here with your
Totally Terrific Thursday
segment.

Once again, I've used the
DREAM TO BE
**New Release**
IPK-171

This card was as easy as 1-2-3!
I stamped the sentiment onto a premade journal card by
Simple Stories {Summer Fresh} and then layered onto coordinating papers.
A couple of sticker embellishments were added as a final touch.
I LOVE this stamp set...grab yours today from our lovely
Ippity Chick, Heather!

Glad you've visited I Heart {ippity} today!

Wednesday WOWzer

This might sound so cliche, but I am so excited to share what I have made today!
My daughter could not find any shorts in the stores that she likes(they were all too short) so, we bought pants and I made them into shorts.  Call me a hoarder, but I have a tough time throwing anything away.
Here are the pieces of denim I cut off the pants.

A normal person would have just chucked them in the garbage.  But, I am far from normal!

I thought it would be cool to emboss in white on the denim, I tried that first, but the white actually absorbed too much into the denim.
Here you can see I have all my supplies ready to go.  I have the denim on top of some large acrylic stamping blocks for a hard surface to stamp on.

Here you can see I stamped all the supplies wanted to use, denim, Mary Engelbreit fabric, twill tape, and organza ribbon.

Here is the final product after I put it all together on come thick chipboard and mounted it on some fabulous coordinating Canvas Corp Papers.
I am using the set called:  Let your Heart take Flight.

The lettering is much darker in person,

I just had a blast making this picture.

It's so fun to find buttons and beads to add to projects like this.

The puffy heart pillow really adds a fun touch to this.

So there you have it, my attempt to WOW you!!
How did I do??
This has been my version of from Trash to Treasure, with Jeannie from The Polka Cabana.

Monday Linky Party

Good Monday morning!  Sherri here with a fun little share using one if {ippity}'s June releases, Stitches of Buttons:

This background stamp is super cute!  It is about 4x6" and is only $6!
I love that you can use it for backgrounds, or you could cut out the individual buttons to make a border or fill shape.  Wouldn't these look adorable fussy-cut and layered in a heart shape?

I used it as a background for an oversized tag:

The buttons are colored with various Copic colors, as are the bottom panel and the ribbon.  The "for you" sentiment is one of my favorites-it is from {ippity}'s Fall for You stamp set.

What will you make this week using YOUR favorite {ippity} stamps?  Show us by linking to this week's LINKY PARTY!  Can't wait to see what you create!

Super Sunday!!

Hi, Emily here on this Super Sunday with a card I created using the {ippity} IPK-109 Fishy Philosophy stamp set, as well as the {ippity} IPK-143 How YOU Doin' set.

I had mentioned in my last post that I was wanting to create a scene of sorts using the Fishy Philosophy set because there are so many great stamps to make a scene in this set. When I pulled out the set the other day I realized I had some Websters Pages papers that would work perfectly with the stamps. :)

I stamped the coral, seaweed and plants in their respective colors with StazOn ink on the teal-blue background of the paper and cut them out. I then cut out a part of the main scene that was originally on the paper and tucked my stamped images behind it so they would look as though they were a part of the original scene. I used more of my StazOn to stamp the sentiment. The sentiment was cut out using my paper trimmer and then I used my corner rounder to round off the edges into an oval. Distress Ink was used around all of the papers. The fish were from the Websters paper from which the scene was cut, and they were fussy cut out and added back on to my new scene. I also used some pop dots to give the sentiment and one of the fish some dimension.

The gems at the bottom are by Websters.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Remember that if you would like to own any of these stamps, all you have to do is go to the {ippity} section of the Unity Stamp Co. website and choose Heather Flaherty as your {ippity} Chick. Easy peasy!

Have a Super Sunday!!

Totally Terrific Thursday

Shellye here with your
TOTALLY TERRIFIC THURSDAY
installment for I Heart {ippity}!

Once again, I've used one of the new June Releases
DREAM TO BE
IPK-171
for today's card.

After stamping, I used watercolor pencils for the blooms.
I then added a few adhesive pearls to the centers.
This stamp is perfect for just about any occasion...I left it without
a sentiment so that it can be used as a notecard.
Paper: My Mind's Eye

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wednesday Wowzer Time

Today, I am doing something a little different.  I am using one of the challenge card sketches for a GIFT BAG!
You can find the sketch challenge here:

Here is the sketch:

Here is the gift bag I have created.

The stamp I used to create the flowers is the heart from the set Straight From The Heart.

All of my paper products(not the tissue paper though) are from Canvas Corp.
I spritzed my papers with Tattered Angels Verdigris.  Wow!!  I am so in love with that color!!!

The bright colors are perfect for this project since I am also entering this in the Unity Opportunity Challenge called BRIGHT.

After making this, I am inspired to make more to have on hand for when I need a gift bag at the spur of the moment.
It always seems like I need one and then don't have time to actually sit and make one in the time frame when I need it!  Do you know what I mean?
Well, I hope you have like this!  I sure do!!!
This has been Jeannie from The Polka Cabana with today's post.

Welcome....Tuesday!

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday!
This is Gerry here today with my first post as a guest-designer!
I Love stamping and I use stamps mostly for decorating the backgrounds
on my layouts. I also Love using stamps to create my own embellishments.
And of course my hand-made cards are always with a touch of stamping.

I`m sharing with you a card
I created with totally adorable stamp set "Moon Beams & Heart Strings"

To create this card I used two stamps from the set:
the falling stars and the phrase "Welcome little one".

I applied different colors ink on the stamp and then I stamped
 using clear embossing powder.
I firstly cut out all the falling stars separately
and adhered them on the sides of the card.
Then I cut out the phrase and applied it at the bottom part of the card!

I hope you enjoyed my post today!
Happy Stamping!
~Gerry~

Monday Linky Party

Good Monday morning, stampers! Sherri here to give you an inky start to your week.  :)

Today is the first Monday of my summer vacation.  I am looking forward to a relaxing, but fun-filled, summer.  Is that possible?  My perfect summer day would start with NO alarm clock, coffee on the deck, and NO schedule!  Sounds simple, doesn't it?  I'll let ya know when that perfect day arrives, lol!
Until then, how about a little card share to remind you that the simple days of summer are on their way?

I paired {ippity}'s Flowers + Friends=Priceless (check it out-on sale for $12!) with some embossed die cuts to create a simple focal point.  I also used this week's sketch from Chick Challenges {with ippity}.  The pitcher was cut with my Cricut, using the Kate's ABC's cartridge.  I then used a Sizzix embossing folder to add some texture.  I love that it looks like old-fashioned pottery!  The sentiment is from {ippity}'s Simply Home.

Looking to win some new {ippity} to use this summer?  Just create ANY kind of project using {ippity} stamps and link up to this week's Linky Party!

Fantastic Friday!!

Happy Friday, Everyone!

Since Father's Day is this coming weekend, I thought I would share with all of you the fabulous Father's Day card I made. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to make my Daddy a special card. He is my everything and he deserves a heartfelt, handmade with love card.

For this card I used the "Guys Stack" by DCWV, and some other scraps I had sitting near me (I love using those up!), a misc button, and some Dollar Tree hemp twine. I used the {ippity} stamp set - Where You Should Be -IPK-110. I really love how this stamp set, as well as all the others, are so versatile. You can use them in SO many ways. It's just a matter of thinking outside the box.

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and are winding down for your weekend, and I would like to wish all the Father's a very Happy Father's Day on Sunday.

Hugs,

Kristy
