Unity FWF & a Weekend Sale

It is that time again... Time for Unity Friends with Flair!

http://www.theunitystampco.blogspot.com/

I had so much fun using this NEW {ippity} set. You are going to LOVE the APRIL Release!!

IPK-167 Let Your Heart Take Flight

I altered a notebook with Basic Grey Out of Print Paper
I stamped the winged heart on CTMH White Daisy CS
as well as some Webster's Pages Paper
and on the notebook cover itself.
The heart I used Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
then added some imaginisce bling while it was drying
I colored the Wings with Copic Cool Gray
then I used the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic a paint brush and glitter

For the sentiment I stamped it 2x on White CTMH Daisy CS
the 2nd image I cut only the heart portion out colored with a red topic marker and again added the Dimensional Magic
The Brad is from CTMH I embossed it with red embossing powder
I then used Tattered Angels Mist on the sentiment and adhered it to the
notebook..

***yes I wanted the sentiment to be placed at an angle instead of straight across, it is not an error**

Totally Terrific Thursday

Shellye here and it's
Totally Terrific Thursday
time at I Heart Ippity!

I love that this stamp,
"It's Raining Happy"
reminds me of those fun pincushions that my grandmother used to have!
(you know, the ones that look like a tomato?)

So I guess I couldn't help but make the umbrella red with a green top...
I thought it would look great against the light blue sky and white clouds tinted with yellow.
Patterned papers by My Mind's Eye Lime Twist

I cut the clouds with my eCraft, then highlighted the edges with a light yellow distress ink.
I trimmed the smaller cloud with Caribbean baker's twine.
For the umbrella, I hand-sewed on sead beads to represent the rain drops!
This is about as clean-and-simple as I get LOL

Thanks for visiting I Heart Ippity!

Wednesday Wowzer Time

Hello everyone..
I am here with a cute card today.  I am using Mojo Monday's Sketch #234
Here is the sketch.

I am using the stamp called:
HAPPY ARE THOSE
This is from the itty bitty, {ippity} stamps.

I love the papers, how bout you?

The paper is My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart.

I wanted to use blue to accentuate the cloud on the stamp.

It is such a joy to work with {ippity} stamps.
Wednesday Wowzers posts are never a chore, I simply love working with these stamps.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great week!

Tons of Fun Tuesdsay: Beautiful You

I love stamping so much! It's very therapeutic after a long day, and it also keeps me from needing to spend money at Hallmark. I love making generic cards I can send any day to any of my friends.

This week I stamped on a Jenni Bowlin sticker and then added some letters and hexagons punched out. Hexagons are quite the rage right now so I couldn't help but hop on the bandwagon a bit.

Here's a look at my simple but fun card:
I missed taking the photo in the sunshine so I had to take the photo indoors.
It's a quick fun card that anyone can make!
I love using Ippity stamps and this stamp set is no exception.
The Dream a Little Dream stamp set includes all these stamps:
Remember to choose Heather as your Ippity Chick when you order!
Happy Tuesday!

Totally Terrific Thursday

Shellye here with your
Totally Terrific Thursday
project!
I adore the hand-drawn look of the
Counts as a Fruit
stamp set by Tracey Malnofski
(IPPITY-IB-013)
It makes me wish more than ever that I could draw!
It has that Parisian flair...I love it!
Of course, cupcakes remind me of bright and fun colors, so I paired up the stamp
with the Sidewalks papers by October Afternoon.
Looks good enough to eat, right?
I layered the cupcake with the two different patterns of paper on foam dots.
I then added just a bit of flair with red glitter for the cherry on top!
Easy peasy!
Happy creating!

Tons of Fun Tuesday: Dream a Little Dream

Happy Tuesday!
Amy here for Tons of Fun Tuesday!
Today I have a fun card to share with you.
Heather generously sent some goodies plus stamps to us this month, so I used my goodies to create this card.

Unfortunately I had to take my photos inside today (cloudy and super windy doesn't photo well either)
But I had a great time cutting the Authentique papers into varying rectangles and squares, then chalk inking them with Colorbok Charcoal ink and finally adding the pretty trim, pins and stamped little banner.
The "dream a little dream" is part of the March Ippity Unity Stamp Collection.
Be sure to choose Heather as your Ippity Stamp Chick when you go check out this set today!
Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday!

Totally Terrific Thursday

Shellye here with your
Totally Terrific Thursday
I Heart Ippity project.
Time to fire up the Zig Markers and dust off that jar of glitter!
I love lollipops...they're whimsical and remind me of an old-fashioned game of Candy Land :)
My daughter gets invited to a lot of birthday parties...and I'm usually the last to know.  It's great to have handmade cards, gift wrap, bags and boxes on hand at all times.  So, I decided to create a little gifting box that's the perfect size for those 'best friends' necklaces, which my daughter loves to give.
I used the
sucks to get old
Itty Bitty Stamp Set IPPITY-IB-010
For my gifting box, I used a premade container by Martha Stewart (got them on clearance at Wal-Mart).
I stamped the lollipop image with Staz-On Black ink onto a scrap of October Afternoon (Modern Homemaker) patterned paper.  I then colored in the dotted portion of the image with a Basic Red ZIG marker.  For the non-dotted portion, I glittered with a bit of iridescent glitter.  I trimmed the lolli part of the pop out and glued on a plastic candy stick (but you could use the paper sticks from actual lolli pops).  I then glued on a cute ribbon bow and pearl for the center of the lolli!  Wrap a strip of patterned paper trimmed in ric-rac around the box and wallah...you're done!

What little girl wouldn't love getting this sweet box with a gift tucked inside?  What little girl wouldn't love giving this?
Have a totally terrific Thursday...see you next week :)
